INGLEMIRE AFC

Female Football Club

CLUB PHILOSOPHY
We aim to increase female football participation by focusing on the players’ needs.

We create a welcoming, friendly, positive and professional environment that encourages players to express themselves, enjoy the game, and develop their skills to become better players, athletes, and people.

We focus on building strong and friendly relationships with our players and their families.

We value input from both parents and players about their development and encourage regular conversations to ensure we meet everyone’s individual needs.

HOW WE PLAY!
Our high-intensity football style is all about applying pressure to create mistakes and win back possession in key areas.

We emphasise constant movement and teamwork, with players ready to take advantage of loose balls and quickly shift into attack.

Our pressing approach requires players to be fit, focused, and technically skilled.

WHO ARE WE?
We are a grassroots not for profit organisation run by enthusiastic and committed volunteers.

WHY?
Inglemire AFC was created by a hardworking Women’s team that wanted to thrive and survive after its inaugural season playing football in the East Riding Women’s League Division 2.

The team created a new club to enhance the grassroots football experience for women and girls in the local community.

I am excited about taking on the role of Chairman of Inglemire AFC..

Our new Female Club was recently set up following a split from a previous Club, ensuring the continuation and development of the Women’s team. Our young Women’s team had an outstanding 1st season, finishing runner-up in the Second Division, scoring an impressive 100 goals and securing Division One Football for next season.

As a forward-thinking and progressive Club, we have formed great partnerships within the local community, recently securing a Home Kit sponsor. Being a financially sustainable club, we plan to expand the number of registered teams over the next few seasons.

Inglemire AFC is managed by a fantastic team of volunteers who are giving and kind, who are respected, experienced, knowledgeable, and have a wealth of coaching and other relevant qualifications in female grassroots, women’s football and the Sporting world,

Our Team coaches are passionate about female football, have completed FA Accredited football coaching courses, and have been screened for suitability to work with young people and adults.

We aim to develop a closer working relationship with our local FA, supporting them on initiatives and projects around Respect and Female Football whilst assuring our Female Club becomes the benchmark club within the area.

Finally, we will remain grounded and achieve our Club objectives of being an outstanding female football club, providing a high standard of female football within the Hull and East Riding Area.
