INGLEMIRE AFC
Female Football Club
CLUB VISION
Our vision is for Inglemire AFC to be recognised as a leading club for female football within Hull and the East Riding—known for high standards, strong values, and clear player development pathways.
PHILOSOPHY
We create a welcoming, friendly, positive and professional environment that encourages players to express themselves, enjoy the game, and develop their skills to become better players, athletes, and people.
We focus on building strong and friendly relationships with our players and their families.
We value input from both parents and players about their development and encourage regular conversations to ensure we meet everyone’s individual needs.
HOW WE PLAY!
Our high-intensity football style is all about applying pressure to create mistakes and win back possession in key areas.
We emphasise constant movement and teamwork, with players ready to take advantage of loose balls and quickly shift into attack.
Our pressing approach requires players to be fit, focused, and technically skilled.
WHO ARE WE?
We are a grassroots not for profit organisation run by enthusiastic and committed volunteers.
WHY?
Inglemire AFC was created by a hardworking Women’s team that wanted to thrive and survive after its inaugural season playing football in the East Riding Women’s League Division 2.
The team created a new club to enhance the grassroots football experience for women and girls in the local community.

I am delighted to take on the role of Chairman of Inglemire AFC at an exciting time in the club’s development.
Our women’s section was recently established following a split from a previous club, ensuring the continued growth and progression of the Women’s team. Despite being a newly formed club, our young women’s team enjoyed an outstanding first season, finishing runner‑up in Division Two, scoring an impressive 100 goals, and securing promotion to Division One football for the upcoming season.
As a forward‑thinking and progressive club, we have already built strong partnerships within the local community, including the recent securing of a Home Kit sponsor. Operating as a financially sustainable organisation, our ambition is to carefully and responsibly expand the number of registered teams over the coming seasons, creating more opportunities for women and girls to play football locally.
Inglemire AFC is run by a dedicated and highly capable team of volunteers who are generous with their time and expertise. They are respected, experienced, and knowledgeable individuals, possessing a wide range of coaching and relevant qualifications across women’s grassroots football and the wider sporting environment.
Our coaches are passionate about the women’s game, hold FA‑accredited coaching qualifications, and have been fully screened to work safely with both young people and adults. Player welfare, development, and enjoyment remain at the centre of everything we do.
We also aim to develop a closer working relationship with our local County FA, actively supporting initiatives around Respect, safeguarding, and the continued growth of women’s football. Our goal is for Inglemire AFC to become a benchmark club for female football within the area.
Above all, we remain grounded in our values and committed to our core objective: to be an outstanding female football club, delivering a high standard of women’s football across Hull and the East Riding, while providing a safe, inclusive, and aspirational environment for all involved.
